St. James depends on your continued financial support for our services and operating expenses.  Our weekly financial position is listed in the weekly bulletin.

There are a number of ways that you can fulfill your financial obligation:

  • Offertory baskets at Mass
  • Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT / e-Check)
  • Credit Cards

The weekly collection takes place during the offertory.  At this time, you may deposit cash, checks made out to St. James, or collection envelopes.  Collection envelopes provide the ability for St.James to supply a year-end statement of giving for income tax purposes.  If you do not currently receive collection envelopes in the mail (monthly) and would like to, please contact the Parish Office at 315-655-3441.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT / e-Check)

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT / e-Check) is the electronic processing of a payment directly through your checking or savings account.  Payments are as secure as writing a check, and you get the added convenience of choosing recurring payments, at the interval of your choice.  This is the least costly method of electronic payment for St. James.  This form of payment may be used for weekly Sacrificial Giving, Capital Campaign,  as well as special designations.

EFT can be set up by filling out this form and returning it to the Parish Office, or register online by clicking on the Give Now button at the bottom of this page.

Changes can be made at any time to your recurring donation by contacting the parish office at 315-655-3441.

Credit Cards

St. James accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover for Sacrificial Giving and Capital Campaign.  As with Electronic Funds, payments can be one-time, or recurring at intervals of your choice.  Please note that St. James incurs a fee of approximately 2.5% for processing credit cards.  You can help make your donation dollars go further by considering the  EFT / e-check option.

Credit Cards can be set up by filling out this form and returning it to the parish office, or register online by clicking on the Give Now button at the bottom of this page.

Already using your Debit Card?

If you are currently using your “credit card” to process your Sacrificial Giving, but it is actually a debit card, please consider converting to the EFT method.  St. James incurs fewer fees for electronic withdrawal directly from your bank account.

Going on vacation?

If you will be away from St. James, you can still continue your weekly giving by using the “Give Now” button.  You are able to choose a one-time donation, or  set a certain amount for a certain number of weeks (or months).  This can even be scheduled in advance, with the “Start Date” feature.
